Indie fashion for wheelchair users.

Wow! It's been a while since I've posted things, now that i'm moving my blog to a different address i'm excited to post more regularly.

I LOVE LOVE LOVEIndie/hipster and grunge clothing…. Basically the whole “tumblr girl” style with the high-waisted shorts paired with almost anything along with over-shirt of some type.  I found not too long after becoming a part time wheelchair user that styling becomes different when it comes to  being a seated fashionista.  Whether or not if your thinner or thicker, especially if your thicker like me. Shorts tend to disappear when you sit down and look like high-waisted denim underwear. & I mean of course, if that’s your style that’s totally your choice but as for me, I feel like that’s a little bit too much skin showing, unless I’m at a pool/beach (LOL double standard much)  So if your like me & don’t feel like it’s appropriate to  go around town in denim undies keep reading.
You might be looking at the outfit and wondering (Ew mid-thigh length shorts?)  instead of the upper-thigh length shorts you see most standing girls wear.  I put these here because this gives you some insurance for thighs that are in the mood for denim munching while giving you the illusion that your wearing upper-thigh length shorts.  I also paired the mid length no tassel cardigan because pesky tassels can get caught in your wheels.

Anyways, happy indie-ing my fellow wheelies. Go enjoy a cup of coffee and  put on the biggest pair of glasses you can find. (;
